Elizabeth Sanden-Mulvey
Professional trainer and rider Elizabeth Sanden-Mulvey has been in the business for several years. She grew up showing in the Hunter, Jumpers and Equitation divisions which led her to many victories including Childrens/Adult Jumper National Champion at 12yrs old, Junior Jumper Prix de States finalist at 17yrs old, and Junior Olympics Bronze Medalist. She went on to start her Grand Prix career at the age of 14. A few years later, she won her first Grand Prix in Chicago, Illinois, her hometown.
2014 was Elizabeth’s best year yet!
Most recently, Elizabeth finished off the 2014 year as reserve champion in the Green Confirmation Hunter Division at Washington International Horse Show on a catch ride for Kelley Farmer and Larry Glefke. She also had top placings at The KY National in the professional hunter divisions and Top ribbons in the International Hunter Derbies in 2014.
2015 has brought Elizabeth back into the Grand Prix Ring with a mini Grand Prix win on David Hopper’s Storm Warning, a 9th place finish in the Tryon Grand Prix on her home-bred Castlegate Farm Island Boy, winner time and time again in the 1.30’s at W.E.F., and Top Pre-Green Ribbons on her home-bred at W.E.F..
Elizabeth and her husband run a top hunter/jumper show barn with successful, wonderful clients.
They currently resides in Millbrook, New York developing the breeding program, training, riding and teaching the next generation of riders.
